My name is Chelsea and I am currently going into my 5th year of college. I am a dance major and working towards a business minor. My big goal in life is to open a dance studio one day and share my passion for dance with others.
Seeing the amount of poetry that we had to write for this class intimidated me at first. However, I have always had a creative mind. As a dancer, I am always choreographing and creating art in which the music or lyrics inspires me to create a story through movement. Because of this, I was able to connect this type of creativity to my work here in this class.
One thing that I will take from this class into my future is my awareness. The idea of sitting back and just becoming inspired by the things around us. Although I find myself unable to write as much as I would like, I would love to be able to continue to write short poems and stories. I believe that my best ideas come out through my writing.
